Use of the Selpaw Computer Services website is governed by the terms and agreement set forth below. Please read them carefully. Your use of the website indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Selpaw Computer Services reserves the right to make changes to this website and the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Selpaw Computer Services is a service provider to the website and is also referred to as “us”, “Selpaw Computer Services”, “vendor” and “we”. The Customer is the individual or organisation using the website and its services, and is also referred to as “you” and “customer(s)”.
COMPATIBILITY
- Compatibility between all hardware or software products is not guaranteed. No refund or replacement will be available for incompatibility problems.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility issues between all hardware or software are resolved prior to ordering.
- Selpaw Computer Services has limited information regarding compatibility, so customers are encouraged to do their own research first.
- It is generally recommended to purchase products made by the same manufacturer to help ensure compatibility.
AVAILABILITY
- No lay-by or rainchecks are available.
- Item availability and prices are subject to change without notice. Contact us for the latest information.
- We may hold stock only at our discretion (we cannot hold goods that are low in stock unless the full amount has been paid).
- While we aim to keep stock levels up on most items, we cannot guarantee availability on all items. We recommend a formal enquiry or purchase order be made prior to pickup (via email, phone, or other written communication).
- Once confirmed, we will be able to confirm availability, reserve stock, and provide the latest pricing. Items in stock will be allocated and reserved only to customers with a formal purchase order.
GENERAL POLICY / DISCLAIMERS
- As there may be misprints or omissions due to human error, we reserve the right to make changes and corrections to prices, products and specifications without notice.
- We are not responsible for typographical errors. Manufacturer specifications are subject to change without notice.
- Information, images, and hyperlinks contained throughout this website are only to be used as a point of reference and may not reflect the exact final product.
- We do not own or publish the content of manufacturer websites. Products we carry may sometimes differ in content or technical specifications as described on linked websites. If you have specific requirements for a product, please contact our sales team to confirm details before purchasing.
- All goods remain the property of Selpaw Computer Services until payment has been received in full. Until title passes, Selpaw Computer Services may retain, repossess and/or resell the goods.
- Customers acknowledge that they hold all goods from Selpaw Computer Services as bailees until ownership passes.
- Selpaw Computer Services reserves the right to withdraw products or specials listed on the website and to update prices and stock availability according to market conditions without notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse sales or price matches for any reason.

PRICING
- All prices quoted on the website are inclusive of GST, but do not include freight or handling charges, and are based on cash or direct deposit payments only.
- Online prices apply strictly to online purchases only.
- While we aim to maintain consistent pricing, in-store prices may differ.
- Parts advertised do not include installation or troubleshooting services. If you require assistance, this will be charged at our standard labour rate of $98 per hour (return-to-base service) or $49 callout plus $98 per hour thereafter (minimum 1 hour) for onsite services.
- As errors and omissions may occur, pricing, product information and availability are not final until confirmed by Selpaw Computer Services staff via email or phone.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. By placing an order, the customer agrees to pay the price quoted at the time of purchase.
- If an item undergoes a price increase before confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel the order or provide the option to pay the difference.
- The final price will be verified in your order confirmation sent by email or provided via phone.
RETURNS / REFUNDS
No return of goods once sold unless the product is faulty or does not perform as intended.
Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL):
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
However, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if an item has a major problem, such as when the item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it
- is unsafe
- is significantly different from the sample or description
- does not do what we said it would do, or what you asked for, and cannot be easily fixed
Alternatively, you may choose to keep the item and receive compensation for any drop in value.
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired within a reasonable time, you may choose a refund or replacement.
Please keep your proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).
SALES TAX
- All advertised prices are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax).
- We do not sell ex-GST prices to individuals or businesses.
- We are registered to collect GST on behalf of the Australian Taxation Office.
- GST components (10%) are shown on our invoices.
- You are not required to provide your ABN when purchasing products from us.
- We cannot sell duty-free to anyone including overseas travellers. However, travellers may be able to claim GST through the Tourist Refund Scheme when leaving Australia if they have the appropriate invoice.
COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARKS
- Manufacturer images and links used on this website are the copyrighted material and trademarks of their respective owners.
- These images and links are used to provide up-to-date and accurate information to visitors.
- Selpaw Computer Services does not own or publish the content within external links and acts only as a reseller of the products.
SHIPPING AND INSURANCE
- We reserve the right not to deliver to addresses that cannot be verified.
- Shipping to locations outside metropolitan areas may incur additional freight charges. Selpaw Computer Services reserves the right to decline orders where freight costs exceed normal rates.
- Product prices do not include shipping or insurance.
- Insurance is optional and must be requested and paid for by the customer.
- We reserve the right not to deliver to PO Boxes.
- Selpaw Computer Services currently does not ship internationally.
- Shipping addresses must include verifiable contact details.
- Orders will not be shipped to third parties unless address and contact details can be verified.
- Delivery to business or non-residential addresses must include company name, address, contact person and phone number.
- The customer must be available to accept and sign for deliveries. Redelivery attempts may incur additional charges.
- Shipping and insurance charges are non-refundable.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery information when placing an order.
- Additional freight charges may apply for redelivery, refused shipments or incorrect delivery details.
- Oversize or dimensional weight charges may apply.
- Claims for damage or loss must be filed with the courier. Selpaw Computer Services cannot file these claims on behalf of the customer.
- All claims for shortages or incorrect shipments must be reported within 24 hours of receiving goods.
- Selpaw Computer Services is not responsible for goods lost or damaged when the customer arranges their own courier.
PAYMENTS
- Selpaw Computer Services may require advance payment or a minimum 20% deposit for special order items or large orders.
- Full payment must be made before goods are released or delivered.
- Custom built systems or large orders may require full prepayment before assembly or shipment.
- Direct deposits from other banks may take up to 48 hours to appear in our account. Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared.
- Cheque payments are not accepted.
- Credit card payments may require verification. Selpaw Computer Services reserves the right to refuse credit card payments if sufficient verification cannot be obtained.
- Additional identification may be required for credit card purchases.
- For in-store pickup, the cardholder may be required to present the credit card and identification.
PRIVACY STATEMENT & POLICY
Selpaw Computer Services is committed to complying with Australian privacy laws and protecting customer privacy.
- Customer details are collected solely for the purpose of processing orders and improving customer service.
- Selpaw Computer Services does not store customer credit card details. Online payments are processed through secure automated systems.
- Customer information will not be sold, traded, or disclosed to third parties except where necessary to process a transaction (for example, banks or payment processors).
- Selpaw Computer Services does not send unsolicited marketing emails without consent.
- Customer information may be provided to authorities if transactions are suspected to be fraudulent or misleading.
- All fraudulent transactions will be pursued and offenders prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
